Alan Neilson takes the Town to 10th placed Altrincham looking for his third straight victory in temporary charge of the club following wins over Tamworth and Kidderminster.

The Hatters are looking for their third successive win on the road after two incredible comebacks but they'll have to do it without the services of a number of key personnel who are either unavailable through injury or suspension.

Confidence his high in the camp and with the Town back in amongst the BSP's top five, another three points would be the perfect tonic before three home matches on the bounce, including two in the league.

Team news:

Hatters: Neilson is without the suspended Rossi Jarvis following his sending off at Kidderminster while Liam Hatch (ankle), Kevin Gallen (shoulder) and Keith Keane (knee) are all out of contention with injury. On a positive note, midfielder Andy Burgess has returned from a hamstring and ankle problem and, after playing 90 minutes for the reserves during the week, is in the squad to face the Robins.

Altrincham: Boss Graham Heathcote has suspension issues with defender Matt Doughty and striker Chris Senior both banned following their dismissals against Mansfield last week. The Alty boss also has injury concerns with Dale Johnson and Chris Denham likely to miss out.

The Hatters have only ever met Altrincham twice and both games finished 0-0 during last season's FA Cup campaign.

Goalkeeper Conrad Logan was the Hatters' hero in the replay at Moss Rose, saving a penalty in normal time before saving two spot-kicks in the penalty shootout to send the Town through to round two.

Recent history:

Compared to their previous three extraordinary seasons at the foot of the Conference table Terry Heathcote's side enjoyed a stress-free campaign during 2008/09 with a comfortable 15th place finish.

The three previous seasons at Moss Lane had seen the Robins finish in the Conference relegation places but were spared demotion on each occasion.

Their reprieve in 2005/06 was perhaps the most long-winded. Following an 18th place finish, Alty were deducted 18 points for fielding an ineligible player which left them at the foot of the table.

But after Scarborough and Canvey Island's resignation from the league - and due to the Conference's restructuring - they survived.

Boston United's double demotion from the Football League helped kept them up the following season and in 2007/08 - as a result of Halifax Town's liquidation - the Robins again defied the odds to keep their place in Non-League's elite.

FACT: Alty's Moss Lane ground also hosts the Manchester United reserve home fixtures.
