Barnet:
After a torrid opening to their 2008/09 Coca-Cola League Two campaign, Barnet eventually managed to secure their first three points of the season following a 1-0 win against Grimsby at the end of September.
Before their win over the Mariners, the north London club had only managed to amass a solitary point in their first seven league matches.
However, since then, the Bees' form has steadily improved and several impressive away performances have seen them climb to relative safety in the league.
Barnet manager Paul Fairclough's future at the club was the subject of media speculation before the match against Grimsby, but it appears that the man who guided the Bees to the Football League in emphatic fashion three years ago still has the full support of the club's board.
So far this season, most of Barnet's moderate success has been away from the Underhill Stadium. Their one and only home win came against Accrington Stanley at the start of October, but several draws and a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Notts County earlier this month has led to serious questions being asked about the Bees' home form.
On their travels, Fairclough's men recorded an impressive 4-3 victory over Rotherham in mid October and then battled to a pair of hard-fought draws against Shrewsbury (2-2) and Bradford City (3-3) two weeks later.
The Bees' faithful will have been encouraged by what they saw in these away matches, and will hope their side can display the same never-say-die attitude in their first ever visit to Kenilworth Road.
In fact, in an increasingly rare occurrence for modern day football, Saturday's meeting will be the first time the two sides have gone head-to-head competitively in their entire histories.
Barnet will be hoping their highly-rated winger Albert Adomah can be the difference between the two sides. The 20-year-old has been linked to a number of Championship clubs since his move from non-league Harrow Borough in January, and is currently the Bees' joint top goalscorer this season.
Elsewhere, 27-year-old midfielder Neal Bishop will set out to take the game by the scruff of the neck as he so often does for the north London club. Whilst Irish striker John O'Flynn will be looking to add to his impressive recent goal tally.

Commercial News:
Representatives of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) will be in attendance at the game to collect a cheque from the Football Club for their donation of the money raised from May's Littlewoods Cup 20th Anniversary game against Arsenal. The BHF was the nominated charity of Elaine Sealey, widow of the Hatters' legendary goalkeeper Les Sealey.
In conjunction with the BHF's involvement, the club have decided to run a "Flag Day" at Saturday's match. The support that the team has received this season has been nothing short of magnificent, but we are always looking at ways to improve the fans experience at games and after consulting various fans groups throughout the season, one suggestion was to create a European type atmosphere with the introduction of flags for a game.
On the day of the game there will be 2,000 small flags available to fans for a £1 donation and any money raised will be split equally between Luton Town FC and the BHF. There will also be 300 larger flags, which will be available for £6 (money raised goes directly to the Football Club).
