The Ladies sides have all built on their previous achievements with most still in contention for honours as we enter the business end of the season.
The first team have three league games remaining against Norwich City, Welwyn Garden City and Gillingham knowing that, although it is a tall order, three wins will bring them the coveted league title which represents how far they have again progressed this season. The reserve squad have also pushed on and are set for a top half finish in what is the toughest league in London.
Our U16's have retained their league title with a 100% record demolishing Watford 9-0 with Leanne Lizaitis, Jade Doherty, Clare Howe all scoring twice with Nicola Henman, Rob Wilfort and Stephanie Anes completing the scoring. They now pursue the treble in their League Cup final against Southend United having already won the County Cup.
It has also been an outstanding season for the Under 15's who fought back from a goal down to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1. Katie Davis scored twice and strike partner Mirella Tambini was also on target. They now need one win from their remaining two fixtures to net the title and meet St Martins in the cup semi final with the victor to play the winner of the Spurs/QPR tie in the final.
The Under 14 squad now have their fate in their own hands after winning 2-1 away to Stevenage. Lauren Porter equalised the home side's early goal and then provided the corner for Hayley Watson to head the winner. They too are League Cup semi-finalists.
To complete the set of 11-a-side squads, the Under 12's are also in the top two and are semi-finalists. In the last league game Chloe Varney scored the second goal to add to an earlier penalty as the Under 12's overcome Denham United 2-0.
It has also been a good year for the Mini Soccer section with the Under 10 and 11's making good progress in spite of struggling for players at times.
