While we're still wondering over Wayne Rooney, at least we now know which Aidan O'Brien-trained horse jockey Kieran Fallon will ride in the Derby. This week, Kieran Fallon nailed his Derby colours to the mast of Horatio Nelson, who is said to have been burning up the gallops, and that decision has seen a contraction in his Hatters Bet price to 9/2, while stablemates, Septimus (6/1) and Dylan Thomas (14/1), have taken a walk in the market.

However, it might not matter which of the Ballydoyle horses he rides, as they've all got the favourite Visindar to beat. This son of former winner Sinndar looks to have the right combination of stamina, determination and speed to win, and he might even drift on the day (currently 7/4) so, be patient and wait for some slack on the favourite, especially if the punt on Horatio continues. For the forecast, we'll be including 14/1 shot Hala Bek, who also demonstrated those three key ingredients when scoring on his debut in April.

The race is live on the BBC (off around 4.20pm), by which time England should have run out comfortable victors over Jamaica (kick off 2.00pm, Live In-Play betting available). Like all good favourites, the Three Lions should win this at a canter, but a word of caution. The Reggae Boyz did manage a creditable draw against USA in the States last time out, while we're likely to see plenty of England substitutions in the second half. We're not advocating a win for the Jamaicans at 12/1 (England 1/6, Draw 5/1), but Hatters Bet's 22/1 on the England / Draw Double Result might be worth a speculative punt. Visit Hatters Bet for more match odds and a whole plethora of World Cup markets.

Finally, not all derby roads lead to Epsom on Saturday, as the Greyhound equivalent reaches its conclusion from Wimbledon, and hot favourite Westmead Hawk at 4/6 must take all the beating in his bid to win the race in consecutive years. However, nothing is certain in greyhound racing, as one bump at the start can mean the game is up, so we'll be having a few quid on Trap One Cleenas Lady at a massive 25/1! One thing is certain though, Hatters Bet customers who back a winner at 2/1 or over in any of the four live Sky races on the night can take advantage of a free bet to the same stake on the next live race.

But that's not all we're giving away this weekend. New customers can also take advantage of £100 Free World Cup bets, starting off with a free matched bet of up to £25, with up to another £75 in free bets to come. That's potentially, £25 to have on England to win the World Cup which at the current odds of 7/1, would net you a cool £175!
