Back me to score the first again with Hatters Bet!

You wouldn't know from the weather, but it must be Spring as the new flat season gets under way this weekend, and that can only mean one thing for Hatters Bet's eager horse racing fans - the Lincoln Handicap!

We've been betting on the race for a while, and the early money has been going on King's Majesty (now joint-favourite at 11/2), but we reckon it could be a case of 'Long live, hail Cesare!' around the winner's enclosure after the race.

For a start, the selection has been laid out for the race by his trainer, James Fanshawe, and we shouldn't be concerned that he's not run since finishing third in a hot handicap at 'Glorious' Goodwood from a terrible draw, as he has run well after a long absence before. Apparently, he's been cantering since the start of the year, so he should be fit!

Hatters Bet's Lincoln Handicap Pick: Cesare @ 11/2

Be sure to visit Hatters Bet next week for details of a brand new racing offer, which includes free bets every day of the week, even when there's no racing on TV. However, you can still win some free bets with our generous Channel 4/1 Offer this weekend.

For example, the Lincoln is due off at 3.10 and, with the winner almost certain to go off at 4/1 or bigger, Hatters Bet customers can back the winner and take advantage of a free bet to the same stake (up to £50) on the next live Channel 4 race - the 3.25 race from Newbury.

Win or lose, we'll also be having a few quid on this weekend's game, and at 6/4 we reckon the lads must be in with a decent shout of pulling off the Win against Brighton. In our First Goalscorer market, Steve Howard has been in good form of late and rates a decent bet at 11/2 to find the net first - money back if he scores the last goal in the game instead!
