It's been a while since the Town went into a game this season the underdogs with the bookies.
But Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Stevenage Borough at Broadhall Way has seen our official bookmaker bet365 believe precisely that.
It's the two in form sides in the BSP that go head-to-head in a mouthwatering clash that could decide where the Conference title goes come 24th April.
Graham Westley's side are currently five points clear at the top, with a game in hand, having won their last eight league fixtures, winning 11 of their 13 matches in the division in 2010. Oh, and to cap it all they've reached the Final of the FA Trophy...
Meanwhile, the Town have been like an express train recently, shooting up into the championship reckoning on the back of seven straight wins that has seen them slam 27 goals past their opponents - including 18 in their last three.
So, something has got to give. Hasn't it?
Maybe that's Boro's unbeaten home record?
Well, if the Hatters are to stand any chance of pipping the Hertfordshire neighbours to the title they will need to win at Broadhall Way.
And we think that will happen, and at odds of 11/5 (that's a little bit over 2/1), we suggest you get stuck into that.
Boro are the 6/5 favourites while the draw is a 12/5 shot. As ever our official bookmaker bet365 will have loads of markets available to punters wanting to have a bet.
If you fancy bet on the game you are spoilt for choice: there are currently 26 different markets to choose from.
Unfortunately none of our pre-Salisbury fancies came up so it's back to the drawing board against Boro.
First up: the correct score. With the Hatters underdogs in the eyes of the bookmakers, the odds on any correct score look pretty tasty.
Stevenage don't give much away and have a fantastic home record with a defence to match. On the flip-side the Hatters are rampant at the minute, scoring goals for fun from all areas of the pitch.
It all points to a tight, tense affair doesn't it?
Not at all. Chance a 3-0 win for Richard Money's side at a fabulous 40/1. Imagine a tenner on that? £400 back. Go on, put your faith in the Town to do the business.
On the goalscorer front, Kevin Gallen, Tom Craddock, Jake Howells and Claude Gnakpa are the men in form.
Between them the quartet have hit an incredible 23 goals in the last seven matches. Beware Stevenage!
It's impossible to pick which one will score at Broadhall Way, given that conceivably, the way they're playing they ALL could.
However, value wise you can't look much further than Howells. The young left winger is 25/1 to score first or 8/1 to score anytime. Not bad, eh?
Gnakpa and Gallen are 9/1 to score first and 11/4 at anytime and both are tempting whilst Craddock is 13/2 to net the first. He's on penalty duty so if it is a tight game, who knows, a spot-kick might decide things.
With that in mind, for our popular scorecast bet, we'll side with Tommy to score first and the Town to edge it 1-0. There were no odds available on bet365 when we posted this column so keep checking for the all the odds up until kick-off.
Before we forget too: the current title odds on bet365:
Stevenage 1/7
Luton 11/2
