ODDS ON FOR SIXTH WIN IN SEVEN

Posted on: Fri 12 Feb 2010

Ok, how do we top that?

Tuesday's (insert superlative of your choice) last-gasp victory over Oxford United has got everyone talking.

Especially those punters who had followed the rush of money to back the Hatters at odds of 7/5 prior to kick-off.

A goal down three minutes into injury time they were probably thinking the worst!

At the stage, if the game had an in-running betting market, we reckon Richard Money's side would have been a 1000/1 to win with some online bookies.

But what followed will no doubt go down in folklore at Kenilworth Road as the Town came back to score twice to snatch the points at the death.

The Hatters boss has already vowed to keep his feet on the ground after such an epic comeback and he must make sure it isn't a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's Show' when his side travel to Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.

Not that he should be concerned given the Town's super record on the road of late.

Their last eight away fixtures in the Blue Square Premier have yielded 22 points out of a possible 24 after and haven't conceded a goal in 617 minutes.

Not bad going.

Our official betting partner bet365 are cottening on the Hatters' form and have chalked us up at 10/11 to see of the Sports on Saturday.

Garry Wilson's side lie 19th in the BSP, three points above the relegation zone and are 13/5 to avenge the 4-1 defeat by the Town back on 28th December. The draw is a 12/5 chance.

As always there is a plethora of punts available to fans who fancy a flutter on the Hatters' tonight.

So first things first. How about the correct score? How about 3-1 to the Town? At 14/1 that gives us a decent run for your money.

As of 3pm on Friday, there were no odds available on the first goalscorer market, we're going to plump for Tom Craddock to find the net first at Priory Lane.

Keep checking bet365 for all the updated odds.
