It seems a long time ago but finally, hopefully, the Town will take to the field for a match in the Blue Square Premier when they take on Gateshead at the International Stadium tomorrow.
Richard Money's men have been itching to get back into action after the FA Cup defeat at Southampton where everyone involved believed the Hatters were unlucky not to earn a replay at the very least.
Victory in the North East tomorrow would be the Town's second on the bounce in the league following the 4-1 home win over Eastbourne on 28th December that seems ages ago.
Gateshead shook Bedfordshire back in August by taking an early lead in the game between the two sides earlier in the season, but with the Tynesiders currently occupying the last relegation place in the BSP, our official bookmakers bet365 have priced the Town as the even money favourites to complete their first double of the season.
If you fancy Ian Bogie's side to nab all three points on Saturday then that is a 13/5 chance while the draw is available at 23/10.

As always there is a plethora of punts available to fans who fancy a flutter on Saturday's game.
So first things first. Can lightening strike twice and the Town win 2-1 against Gateshead again? Not out of the realms of possibility is it? 15/2 says the Hatters will triumph by that score.
Ok, so how about on the goal front. How about Matthew Barnes-Homer? He hasn't played for the Hatters since the win over Eastbourne in which he scored his first goal for the club and he'll be keen to add to that tally tomorrow. MBH is as short as 7/5 to score at anytime but a tempting 5/1 to get the first goal. A tenner on that and you're 50 quid richer. Not bad, eh?
Or how about chancing your arm with a scorecast? What about Rossi Jarvis - who scored the Town's last competitive goal - to score first in a 3-0 away win? Could it happen? bet365 believe that's a 155/1 shot! Is that worth a few quid, or even a few pence even? Does that represent good value in your eyes?
