Our victory over Oxford was massive. It a must a very important game for us and one which we all thought at one point did not look like winning.
However, we just kept banging on the door and eventually we got our reward with two late goals to give us all three points.
The first goal came from a Keith Keane corner which was headed in by George Pilkington before Keano curled in a corner of his own in the 96th minute to cap an incredible night.
The scenes at the end of the match reminded me of the good times at Kenilworth Road.
To win in that fashion, against the league leaders - themselves a big club for this level - in front of full house, made it extra special.
It was a huge result for us and I thought it was the best we had played at home all season.
I thought we were the better team and despite Oxford taking the lead, in the end our persistence paid off.
Last Saturday at Eastbourne was just as important. This season has seen us let ourselves down in games that follow good results, so to pick up another three points was vital.
We started the game very well and should have been a couple of goals to the good before half-time.
It was encouraging to see us look so dangerous going forward. We have attacking threats all over the pitch, whether it be up front, from the flanks, in midfield or from defenders at set pieces.
The only criticism we had talking about it afterwards, was that we should have made it easier for ourselves by taking our chances.
After three successive wins we went to York confident of ending their unbeaten home record and it looked like that might be the case in the first half where we played some lovely football.
Our passing and movement was exceptional, however, we failed to turn our possession into a goal.
The second half was a different game altogether and we had to thank Mark Tyler for a stunning save to keep us in the game. You will not see a better save than that all season.
That clean sheet kept our incredible run away from home up where we haven't conceded in the league for eight matches.
I can't put my finger on why we are proving to be so consistent on our travels but credit goes to everyone on the pitch in those games, especially those playing defence and in goal.
Today we welcome AFC Wimbledon in what is not just another important game but one which will represent a stern test. The league table doesn't lie: they are just outside the Play-Off places and have enjoyed a good season.
We have been pre-warned about the threats that they possess but we have worked very hard since the York game in training to combat those.
Hopefully we can keep up our level of consistency this afternoon.
Enjoy the game and get behind the lads.
Nico.
