Tuesday's draw against Millwall is another indication that a win is just around the corner. There has certainly been improvements in our last two performances, but it was a disappointing dressing room on Tuesday night because we felt we deserved more than a point.

We controlled large periods of the second half and certainly had our chances to get a second goal. However, we have something to build on now and if we can repeat our performance against Millwall this afternoon then we have a chance of picking up three points.

It was good to see Paul Furlong back on the score sheet on Tuesday. He has been enjoying a good season and his 12 goals has been a plus point this campaign.

I'm glad to see that the takeover of the Club has moved a step forward over the past couple of days. There has been so much uncertainly this season and hopefully the news during the week concerning the LTFC 2020 consortium will secure the future of the Club and take us forward.

The players remain focused on what is happening on the pitch and today we face another difficult match.

Walsall have enjoyed a remarkable season and their position in the League One table can only be applauded, particularly when you consider the size of their squad.

They have enjoyed a good run of results recently and we have received impressive reports from their 3-0 win at Swindon last weekend.

But we got a good point at the Bescot Stadium earlier in the season so we can go into this game this afternoon knowing that if we play to our best, we can get a result.

Your support is once again going to be vital. There was a great atmosphere inside Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night so please continue to get right behind us.

Enjoy the game
