The Town are pleased to mark the launch of the new-look official website with the news that highly-rated Brighton midfielder Yaser Kasim has joined on a six-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old is well regarded by the Championship club who snapped up the central midfield player in August 2010 following his release from Premier League Tottenham.
Yaser rose through the ranks at White Hart Lane, playing a vital role in the Spurs youth team in 2008/09 prior to joining the Seagulls.
Capped at Under-23 level by his native Iraq, Yaser made his debut for Albion at the tail end of the 2010/11 campaign.
Boss Paul Buckle told lutontown.co.uk: “Yaser is a strong midfielder who is a great prospect who I first saw as a teenager at Tottenham.
“Yaser can do a variety of jobs in midfield: he can be a box-to-box man and also play in a defensive midfield role.
“It’s great that we have been able to capture someone of his calibre for six months and I have no doubt that he will prosper with us."
