Zane Banton and Kynan Isaac were both on target as eight Town players out on loan were involved in action over the course of the weekend.

Banton, above, scored one and set-up another as Bigglewade beat Truro City 3-2. Fellow Hatters loanee Ian Rees created Banton’s opener, before the striker teed up the Waders’ winner after Truro had levelled from 2-0 down.

Meanwhile winger Isaac put Oxford City in front at Lowestoft in Conference North but City were unable to build on that goal and lost 2-1.

Andy Parry made his second appearance for AFC Telford on Saturday and he helped the Bucks pick up an impressive 3-1 away win at Conference Premier high-flyers Woking.

Elsewhere in the Conference, Dave Martin came close to giving Bristol Rovers an equaliser in their 1-0 defeat at home to Forest Green; and Solomon Taiwo was also on the receiving end of a 1-0 loss as Dover went down at Macclesfield.

Mark Onyemah set-up Thurrock’s final goal in their 4-3 win over Tilbury in the FA Trophy on Friday night, and Charlie Smith played 73 minutes for Hitchin as the Canaries surrendered a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at Dorchester in the Southern Premier.
