Youth team take on Cobblers

The Hatters Under-18s will be aiming to record a victory for team-mate Luke Trotman when they take on Northampton Town in the Youth Alliance at Ely Way on Saturday morning.

Young defender Trotman broke his leg in two places shortly before half-time in last weekend's game at Peterborough, which was later abandonded.

Trotman is now recovering from a successful operation, but the Town take on Northampton aiming to get back to winning ways after their unbeaten start was ended by Barnet two weeks ago.

Paul Driver's youngsters lie in fourth place in the South East division table on 13 points, one point ahead of the Cobblers who have played a game more.

Kick-off at the Town's Ely Way training ground is at 11am, and a brief summary of the match will be available on lutontown.co.uk on Saturday afternoon.
