Second straight win for the Town youngsters
The Hatters Under-18s recorded their second successive victory in the Youth Alliance with an impressive 4-0 win over AFC Wimbledon at Ely Way on Saturday morning.
Geo Craig got the ball rolling for the Town in the 25th minute, and two minutes later it was 2-0 when Kyran McGhan-George fired home.
It took the Town just 60 seconds after half-time to extend their lead when Leeroy Maguraushe made it 3-0.
And the Hatters’ victory was completed on the hour when Alex Atkinson made it four. The Hatters were denied further goals by an inspired string of saves from the Wimbledon keeper and 4-0 it stayed.
