Hall could be back but Town trio still unavailable

Town boss Nathan Jones is likely to pick from the same squad that was on duty on Tuesday for Saturday’s game at Wycombe.

The Hatters will, however, assess the fitness of Ryan Hall – who has missed the last three games with a foot injury – and the winger is one of four players with injuries who is nearest a return to the squad.

Danny Green (ankle), Josh McQuoid (knee) and Nathan Doyle (knee) all remain out. Doyle has seen a specialist this week and is likely to be out for up to six weeks after a piece of floating bone was found in his cartilage.

Jones was asked on his thoughts on the fitness of the Town’s squad at his press conference.

He said: “It’s not my business on what happened before I arrived but I want a squad of players that can play 46 games a season.

“We need a group that train, eat, sleep and breathe Luton Town – and if they don’t they won’t be at Luton Town.”
