Another year for striker Miller

The Town can announce that striker Ricky Miller has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Kenilworth Road until 2016.

The 25-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Hatters this summer after scoring 28 goals for Boston United last season.

Miller enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell at Dover Athletic this season, where he scored five goals in 10 games in the Conference Premier, before he returned to make his Luton debut in the 2-1 win at Hartlepool on 18th October.

He scored his first goal for the Town in the 4-2 FA Cup win over Newport, before he netted his first Football League goal with the winner in the Hatters’ 1-0 win over Tranmere.

Town boss John Still told lutontown.co.uk: “Ricky’s been tremendous for us since his arrival. He has such a great attitude and hunger to do well.

“He’s capable of coming up with that little bit of magic, as showed against Tranmere, and in the short time he’s been with us we’ve been hugely impressed with the improvement he has made.”
