Want your say in Luton Town? Well now you can…

Following last week's news that Trust in Luton have been handed the rights to veto the club’s identity assets, the two organisations are now enabling Hatters fans the chance to vote on next season kit colours.

In a step approved by the Trust, the Club are delighted to ask Town supporters one big, simple question, should the club win promotion:

Should the first choice shirt colour be white or orange next season?

Forget manager idol: there’s no suspect phone voting and it won’t cost you a penny. We’re just giving YOU the chance to have your say in YOUR club.

It’s a question which will divide generations. Did you grow up watching the Town lift the Littlewoods Cup in white? Or do you love the current orange – the colour the Hatters donned when winning promotion to the top flight in 1974?

So what colour do you associate with Luton Town? Whether we play in orange or white we’re pretty sure they’ll be some lively debate…there’s been plenty of that between staff in the offices at Kenilworth Road already.

It’s all about what you feel…football’s a game of opinion but this goes deeper than that. What colour best represents Luton Town to you? Orange or white? It’s time to make your mind up!

Now here’s the important bit…

HOW TO VOTE:

Voting is now open and closes on Wednesday night at midnight. The results, which will be verified and audited by Trust in Luton, will be released before kick-off at Saturday’s home match against Chester.

Any supporter on the club’s database will be sent an email with instructions on how to vote. Essentially, the database contains details of all supporters who have purchased tickets or merchandise from the club.

Executive members and season ticket holders will get two points per vote. Supporters on the database will count as one point. All club staff, including directors, players and management will receive three points.

The very important bit:

If you think you haven’t received the email, firstly check your junk email box. Alternatively, please check any old email addresses you may have registered with in the past. Emails should all have been delivered by Saturday morning.

If you still have not received the details we are more than happy to deal with your enquiries so please email haveyoursay@lutontown.co.uk. Please only this email address will deal with these enquiries.

Terminals at the ticket office and club reception will also be available for people to vote.

We are giving YOU the opportunity to have your say but don’t delay – remember voting ends on Wednesday night.

So the question is: a return to white or keep it orange?

Have your say online. Check out the Wall and get talking on Twitter using the hashtags #VoteWhite #VoteOrange.
