Stopper extends stay for another year

Town goalkeeper Mark Tyler has triggered an automatic one-year contract extension after playing his 30th league game of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win over Carlisle United.

The 37-year-old former Peterborough stopper made his 265th appearance at the weekend and kept his 14th clean sheet of the campaign in the process.

Tyler was the Town's first signing in the 2009 close season and made his debut in the 1-1 draw at AFC Wimbledon.
