Cup defeat for dev squad
A strong Town dev squad side lost 3-1 at Cambridge United in the Final Third Development League Cup on Wednesday.
Alex Wall scored the Hatters' goal five minutes before half-time but it was all in vain as United eased to victory.
Wall was one of a number of first team players who completed 90 minutes, while striker Paul Benson played an hour before he was substituted for Ricky Miller.
Town: King, Trotman, Galliford, Parry, Lacey, Robinson, Rooney, Allman (sub Ngwala 75), Hall, Wall, Benson (sub Miller 60).
Sub not used: Gooch.
