The Hatters are delighted to announce that Alan Sheehan has agreed a terms on a two year deal to join Luton Town on 1st July upon the expiry of his contract at Bradford City.

The 29 year old defender was the first player to arrive at Kenilworth Road under the management of Nathan Jones. Sheehan has made 20 appearance for the club since signing on loan from Bradford City in January and captained the team after Scott Cuthbert was substituted after an injury during the second half of the Stevenage game in early April.

Sheehan told lutontown.co.uk “I have really enjoyed my football since being at Luton Town. For me it’s all about enjoying the football really.

“The manager was a huge factor in me coming to Luton and obviously Paul Hart, Mick Harford and Kevin Nugent are a very strong team and I’m really delighted to be joining”
