Town's two Over-50s teams walk to glory
To get Hatters fans in the mood ahead of tonight’s big EFL Cup second round tie with Leeds United, here’s a group of Luton Town footballers who have already walked their way to cup glory this week!
The two Town Over-50s walking football teams won the Bedfordshire FA’s walking football tournament held at the County HQ on Skimpot Road on Saturday.
Team One won the Advanced competition with Team Two lifting the Intermediate Cup.
Organiser Arthur Mason said: “We had a team in each and we both sides won their respective sections. It was a great day. Everyone who played did a fine job and did Luton Town proud!”
Well done to all the guys involved – let’s hope they can inspire Nathan and the boys to victory tonight!
