One loan ends early for keeper, and another begins!

Teenage Hatters goalkeeper Liam Gooch’s youth loan with Kettering Town has been terminated by mutual agreement.

The 19-year-old played three times for the Poppies after joining them three weeks ago, but will now finish the season with another Evo-Stik League Southern Premier club, Biggleswade Town.

Gooch has agreed a third loan of the season in the Step 3 division, having spent time with high-flying neighbours Hitchin Town before Christmas.

The Stotfold-based stopper could make his debut for the Waders in their home game with Dorchester Town on Saturday.

All at Kenilworth Road wish Liam well during his stay at the Carlsberg Stadium.
