Join us as a 'Here to Help' volunteer
Are you a lifelong Hatters fan? Do you have a bright and welcoming personality? Do you love meeting new people? If the answer is yes to these questions, we want to hear from you.
Ahead of the 2015/16 season, we’re looking for volunteers to join us on home matchdays in our ‘Happy to Help’ team. This new group will be working in pairs at various points around the stadium, welcoming supporters to the ground and helping to create a positive lasting impression of Luton Town Football Club.
The selected volunteers will get to feel great about helping us provide an excellent experience. On top of this, they'll also receive one match ticket for each game they attend as a 'Happy to Help' volunteer.
PLUS for any volunteer who works at more than 15 games a season will receive an additional Match Ticket a voucher* for £25 to spend on food or in the Club shop.
Please note that this is not a stewarding position, and volunteers will not be asked to undertake stewarding responsibilities.

The ‘Happy to Help’ volunteers will deliver a valued experience from welcome to farewell and create a positive lasting impression of Luton Town Football Club.
Hours of Operation:
‘Happy to Help’ volunteers will be in place on match days. They will be in place 15 minutes prior to the gates opening and 15 minutes after the gates close.
‘Happy to Help’ volunteers will work in pairs and have designated areas to operate in.
1 Kenilworth Road apron*.
2 Concourse (towards Main Stand)*.
3 Maple Road (outside ground)*.
4 Oak Road (outside ground).
5 Kenilworth Road stand (Family Area).
‘Happy to Help’ stations will be located in the areas above marked with an asterisk.
To greet fans coming to the ground (and in particular any identified as “first-timers” or with families).
To proactively assist fans with any queries about the ground and it’s facilities.
To help direct any fan(s) to their seats.
To point out location of catering stands and bars.
To offer a friendly welcome to all fans (but NOT to engage in anything the responsibility of stewards).
All ‘Happy to Help’ volunteers will be DBS checked by Luton Town Football Club
All volunteers will attend an Induction Course run by the Training Manager, and subsequently a brief “refresher” course once per season.
Service Level Principles:
‘Happy to Help’ volunteers will not be required to undertake any duties during the match.
Specialist clothing (armbands etc.) will be worn and clearly visible when volunteers are on duty.
Specialist clothing (armbands etc) will be removed by all volunteers during the match.
All volunteers will be under the direction of, and report to the Safety Officer.
All applicant should complete the application form provided and submit it to the Club by 12th June 2015.
Applicants will be DBS checked. This will be undertaken by the Club’s Welfare Officer.
A one-to-one meeting will also be held to help assess suitability for the role.
